Celebrating Common Humanity:

A Self-Compassion Offering

Saturday, July 20, 2024

International Self-Compassion Day is coming soon on Saturday, July 20, 2024! This inspiring first-time-ever event, created and sponsored by the Center for Mindful Self-Compassion (CMSC), invites you, your family and friends, co-workers, schools, businesses, and any communities you’re a part of from around the world to come together in a celebration of self-compassion.

International Self-Compassion Day aims to increase global awareness of self-compassion and this year, raise $50,000 to support CMSC’s mission to alleviate suffering and enhance well-being through the transformative practice of self-compassion.

Support CMSC

More than 7,000 research studies show the efficacy of self-compassion. The Center for Mindful Self-Compassion (CMSC) is living proof that self-compassion changes lives and communities. We've trained over 3,000 teachers in mindful self-compassion, impacting the lives of over 200,000 people in over 90 countries—and the waiting list for MSC scholarships grows every month. CMSC is able to continue greater accessibility to Self-Compassion due to donors and support from our community members like you.

Community Partners

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our Community Partners for sharing International Self-Compassion Day with their communities. Your dedication in spreading global awareness of the proven power of self-compassion is truly invaluable and greatly appreciated.

For every event pass you purchase, CMSC will donate a second free event pass in your name to those with financial need who would be unable to attend otherwise.
Your donation truly makes a difference. Thank you!

International Partners

CMSC recognizes partner organizations around the world who offer MSC Teacher Training and who are currently connected to CMSC through shared development of best practices in MSC. We are grateful to work together to spread MSC around the world!
